What is multi-step oxygen therapy (SMT)?
It is based on findings of the Dresdner physicist, Prof. Manfred von Ardenne (1907-1997). He was able to prove that regular inhalation of concentrated oxygen over a period of time significantly improves the oxygen supply of human cells. It should be noted that the air we breathe consists of 78% nitrogen and only about 21% oxygen. The rest are noble gases and carbon dioxide. In oxygen therapy, the patient inhales nearly pure oxygen (95%). The oxygen is ionized and thus negatively charged, which leads to closer binding to the red blood cells.
How does the oxygen multistep therapy work?
After taking a vitamin and mineral drink, oxygen is inhaled through a mask. The duration is 25 to 30 minutes. Ideally, the treatment consists of 10 days in a row (within 14 days). The weekend is free. It is also possible to have therapy sessions two to three times a week over a period of 4 weeks.
